Got a new PC

by Dude-Suit on Oct.02, 2012, under Blog

Haven’t put up a new post in little while. Been gaming and nothing really going on other than adding new tracks to Dude Suit Radio see link at top of page or to the right.

Doing a bit of gaming, playing Guild Wars 2 mainly and some Borderlands 2. But the big news I guess would be I finally upgraded and got a new pc. A pretty sweet little system, that did cost a pretty penny, but should hopefully last for a little while at least.

Rasberry PI Alpha board

Note: Alpha board for Rasberry PI

$25 Computer?

Yep, that’s correct and not a typo. Rasberry PI I had heard about these guys off and on for several months now and what they will be offering is awesome. A tiny yet powerful computer that can be used as anything from a makeshift desktop pc, home automation, media player for your television, to countless other projects. The limit is only your imagination. These are scheduled to go on sale sometime toward the end of November or the beginning of December, so keep an eye on their website and forums for up to date news and information. You can click the link to their website for more information and forum discussions.

Update: The Rasberry PI folks had an original plan of shipping these end of last November first of December, but things got pushed back. From this updated link it looks like January is the target for shipping – http://www.raspberrypi.org/archives/422
